About Creating Offer Requests
You can create an offer request from either the Interview or the Offer Stage Maps. Each of these maps contains a Create Offer Request action button. Clicking the button takes you to a Create Offer Request page, where you can fill in information on the offer.
Once the offer is officially extended to the candidate, one of the following scenarios will take place:
- The candidate accepts the offer, and he or she suggests a start date.
- The candidate rejects the offer. The offer status is changed to Reject and the process is ended for that candidate.
- The candidate wants to negotiate. This scenario may lead to a counter-offer. In this case, you create a new Pending Counter Offer record, which has to be approved again before you can extend it to the candidate. This process continues until the candidate accepts the offer, you cannot extend further offers, or the candidate rejects the offer for the final time. If the candidate accepts the offer, you can create an Offer Acceptance record in Personic WebBench with the start date and other employment information.
