Reviewing Resumes and Giving Feedback

Viewing a List of Requisitions that Need Manager Review

Viewing All Open Requisitions in Manager Review from within Manager Review

Once a requisition has been approved and the recruiter has changed its status from Pending to Open, the recruiter typically searches for appropriate resumes and sends them to you for review. Personic WebBench automatically "attaches" these candidates to the proper requisition and makes them available for your consideration in the Manager Review stage.

On the Manager Review Main page, you can view requisitions with resumes awaiting review by clicking an action button in the Manager Review Stage Map. On this or any other page in the Manager Review stage, you can also click the Needs Manager Review action button to see such resumes. On the candidate's Manager Review page, you can choose whether to route the candidate to the recruiter to schedule an interview or to schedule the interview yourself. On the same page, you may also reject the candidate, put the candidate on hold, or request the recruiter to get more information on the candidate. In the Comments field at the bottom of the page, you can also type comments for the recruiter to see.

Following are the action button choices you have when reviewing resumes:

Interested, Manager Schedules Interview changes the candidate status to Interview to Be Scheduled and opens the Schedule Interview page so that you can schedule the interview.

Interested, Recruiter Schedules Interview changes the candidate status to Interview to Be Scheduled. The recruiter notes this and schedules the interview.

Need More Info changes the candidate status to Need More Info, which notifies the recruiter to send you more information on the candidate.

Hold changes the candidate status to Hold, which notifies the recruiter to suspend further activity on this candidate. You may also select one of the following reasons for the hold from the drop-down list.

Candidate Not Interested changes the candidate status to Not Interested, releasing the candidate's record from consideration for this requisition and making the candidate's record available for consideration for other requisitions.

Reject Candidate changes the candidate status to Rejected, releasing the candidate's record from consideration for this requisition.

For both Candidate Not Interested and Reject Candidate, you may also select a reason from the drop-down list.

Once an interview is scheduled, the recruiter contacts both the candidate and members of the interview team with schedules and other pertinent information.
