This is full scale application software. There are many features and functions which may not be obvious to the user. Please read "How to review a bridge hand using the Bridge Applet"or at least glance through the documentation. The help button will display a brief description of what each button will do. If you want to set up a file to describe your bridge hand and see it come alive on the Internet ( or off-line viewing using your browser) you can get all the information from "How to set up HTML files to describe a bridge hand". All you need is a text editor to edit templates already set up for you. Even though the data file is a HTML file, but you do not need to know anything about HTML at all. ( Less than one minute for modifying the HTML file to include hand information. Less than two minutes for including bidding and card playing sequence.)There is a series of tutorial examples to show you how to input some of the more common type of bridge hands you may want to post in the Internet. It is also a great way to gather some knowledge about Java Applet and HTML web page files.

This applet can be use free of any charges for all non-commercial usage. All commercial usage of the applet must have a licensing agreement . If you post your hand in your web site using my applet I would appreciate an email from you so that I can keep a list of links in my web page. If you have good bridge material and want to share with all of us in the Internet this is the "Net" way of doing it. Professional bridge players who want to advertise their books, tapes, classes etc. are welcome to use the applet free of charges to post their high quality bridge materials on the Internet.

The bridge applet has been tested and run perfectly under Window 95. It runs good under Window NT. It does not run well under the Mac. It runs good under Unix.
