Most of the hands can be described completely using just hand condition 1. The section consists of two parts. The first logical part is the exclusive conditions which is shown in the lower half of the dialog window (last 4 row). Any conditions enter here will be excluded from the hand selection. The second logical part is the inclusive conditions which is shown in the upper half of the dialog window (last 4 row). Each row is a separate condition and it has four columns. The first two column defines the lower and upper limits of the HCP range you are looking for. For each row you can enter two situations or hand conditions S1 and S2. To satisfy the condition , both situation S1 and S2 must be true.

Suppose you want to select all the 1C openings with an  exactly 5 card club suit. The first row should be 11 22 5 7005 which is select hands with 11 to 22 high card points and (condition 5 is 1C opening with NT) and (condition 7005 is exactly 5 club). That is all the inclusive condition needed. But you still need to exclude the NT hands. The fifth row should be 15 17 1 0 which is exclude hands with 15 to 17 high card points and (1 normal NT with no 5 card majors) and (0 ignore this). The sixth row should be 20 22 1 0 which is exclude hands with 20 to 22 high card points and (1 normal NT with no 5 card majors) and (0 ignore this).
